Prost, Villeneuve, Trulli, Fisachella, Alonso, Button…it’s fair to say the Renault Sport Formula One team has witnessed its fair share of talent behind the wheel. To mark the constructor’s 40th Anniversary in F1, team partner Bell & Ross is introducing a new model inspired by the R.S.01., Renault’s first ever-single seater from 1977. The vintage-style chronograph’s 41mm satin-finish steel case has a distinctive black and yellow dial – a nod to the team’s colours, naturally. The engine? A pole-worthy in-house calibre BR-CAL.301. The finishing touch: An historic Renault logo from the Seventies, embossed on the watch face and engraved on the case-back. The special BR126 will comprise a limited run of 170 pieces – a reference to the number of Renault victories in Formula 1.
