Hublot has revealed its latest 2015 collection of timepieces, including one piece that is embroidered. Yes, embroidered – it is “an ode to the ultimate in femininity”. Three decidedly more masculine models, however, have caught Brogue’s eye. The first is a dark, brooding version of the classic Big Bang. The 51mm by 45mm Spirit of Big Bang All Black is limited to 500 numbered pieces and includes the new HUB4700 automatic skeleton movement with a 50-hour power reserve. An elegant touch of concealed comfort sees its alligator strap stitched onto black rubber. Next is Hublot’s Classic Fusion with a moon phase, the 45mm Aeromoon. This skeleton watch features a full calendar displaying the moon phases in a 13mm partially frosted window at 6 o’clock, as well as date, day and month indications. Lastly, the 45mm Big Bang Tourbillon 5-Day Power Reserve Indicator boasts, again, a skeleton movement but with the added practicality of a power reserve indicator on the dial side. Limited to 99 pieces in both titanium and 18K gold, it is the first tourbillon in Hublot’s new generation Big Bang range.
