Designed by Ross Lovegrove – once described, no less, as a “visionary who’s work is considered to be at the very apex of stimulating a profound change in the physicality of our three dimensional world” – the KEF Muo is the finest portable Bluetooth speaker Brogue has ever heard. Lovegrove first worked with KEF on Muon, the £140,000 limited edition, aluminium obelisks, and despite it’s diminutive stature, the Muo is a direct descendant of the classic design. Created from a single piece of precision engineered, sonically inert, vibration reducing aluminium, Muo houses a bass radiator and two quality 5cm drivers. These are a miniaturised version of KEF’s Uni-Q driver, which has a tweeter in the centre of a mid/bass cone to improve clarity. Connection is via AptX Bluetooth for CD quality streaming, there’s NFC, 3,5mm jack and you can pair with two units together for stereo playback or multi-room. Battery life is quoted at 12hrs, which is superb given the unbeatable sound quality.
Pair two KEF Muo speakers together for stereo playback or multi-room mode.
