‘Luxury in Motion’ is an ambitious suffix to attach to any car, even a concept one, but in the case of Mercedes’ F 015 it’s justly earned. Powered by twin electric motors generating 268bhp and zero emissions (courtesy of a combination of lithium ion and hydrogen fuel cells), this fully autonomous design is part automobile, part portable living space. Once clear of the urban sprawl its four armchair seats electronically reconfigure to face each other while the car safely transports its passengers up to a range of 684 miles using a combination of cameras and environmental sensors. The carbon-fiber-reinforced shell also features carriage-style doors, a retractable steering wheel and six touchscreen panels throughout its spacious interior. Mercedes-Benz
