The Italian car design firm and coachbuilder, fresh from its recent success with the 2014 Ferrari California T, has moved its focus from four wheels to two with the elegant Fuoriserie Bike, built in collaboration with 43 Milano. With a chromed steel tube frame, handmade welds and sections of walnut briar-root, the look is minimal and classic. The handlebars and saddle reference the interlaced leather used in the interior of Pininfarina’s iconic 1936 Lancia Astura Bocca, while the Bike+ electric booster engine, Supernova LED lighting kit and plug system (that lets you recharge mobile phones through the dynamo) brings this bicycle bang up to date. Other details worthy of note? The Panaracer Ribmo 28-inch racing tyres are reinforced with Kevlar anti-puncture material, and the brake calipers are from Campagnolo Veloce. Act fast though, as the Fuoriserie is limited to just 30 units worldwide.
