Wired audio sounds better, but with the new H7 Wireless Speaker, Samsung has other ideas. Using something they’re calling UHQ (Ultra-high Quality Sound) technology, Samsung claim they can upscale any incoming audio to 32bit output, resulting in better sounding music no matter the source. Samsung has applied ‘Distortion Cancelling’ technology which reduces sound alterations by predicting the movement of internal speaker units in advance, and controlling them to deliver the perfect sound. The ‘Distortion Cancelling’ algorithm can intelligently predict a woofer’s movement, control it, and play more solid and stable sounds at a low pitch. Can Samsung really transform our low-res Bluetooth streamed MP3s? It’s a bold move, and Brogue looks forward to having a listen at this year’s CES show in Las Vegas.
